Do you know the secret of using The Secret, Rhonda Byrne's best selling book about the law of attraction? There's definitely a right way and even a certain way to attract the stuff you want in life.

Byrne's book is about maintaining a positive focus on what you really want and then letting the universal law of attraction bring it to you.

That may be an over-simplification of the content, but it's what most people take away. And it's led to controversy, with some swearing by the book and others skewering it with humorous parodies.

Prior to The Secret came Wallace Wattles' book The Science of Getting Rich 1912, and of course Napoleon Hill's 1937 classic (and perennial best-seller) Think and Grow Rich.

Many believe that Napoleon Hill said it best with, "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

By this he definitely didn't mean wishful thinking and hoping for the best.

He meant to think of and visualize a goal with such crystal clarity that you're able to see ALL the actions and resources needed to realize it.

In fact, he dedicated a good part of his book to detailed planning. So, the real keys to success are:

What's great about books like The Science of Getting Rich, Think and Grow Rich and The Secret is that the principles are simultaneously old and new.
